A kid who CARES is a kid who WINS.
After quitting in frustration, Maneesha and Wanda are back in the lab. Maneesha learns from Maya that some things are hard for her, too. Wanda goes on to share that everyone has their own unique Learnia. What's in one person's Gro Valley eventually moves to EZ Town, but not necessarily at the same time as a different person's.
Next, Wanda unveils her Inner-Illuminator! It shows us the sources of the voices in our head. Wanda's inner critic, named Wildly Critical Wanda, is the voice she hears inside that constantly tells her she's not good enough. Luckily, Wanda knows how to talk back to her inner critic, and prove she can get things done. Remember:
Most new things start out as a challenge, then with practice and effort, become easier.
What's a challenge for one person may already have gotten easier for a different person, and that's okay.
We have many different voices inside of us, and some of them can make us afraid of failure. However, the only real failure is not trying. We can talk back to our voices and make them understand that.
What are some things that feel difficult for you, but look easy for other people? Do you believe it was always easy for them? How did it become easy?
Think of something that's easy for you right now. Do you remember a time when it was not so easy?
Do you ever hear critical voices in your own head? What are some of the things your inner critic says to you? How can you respond?
